Welcome to Cede’s Place, a free children’s boutique, our newest addition to Mercede’s nonprofit.

Cede’s Place was started in partnership with the Blessing Project in Swannanoa, NC, which has been helping families that were affected by Hurricane Helene by meeting basic needs such as water, food, heat, household products, toiletries, diapers and much more. As winter hit in 2025, with many families still living in tents, campers and sheds, there was a desperate need for warm clothing for babies and children. Cede’s Place was created to fill that need.

Families can come to Cede’s Place to get baby needs such as blankets, burp cloths, bottles, and nursing supplies. They can also find clothes and pajamas sizes newborn to 9/10, as well as coats and shoes.
